I would say I generally am optimistic about treatments. I don't think you will find many people on here who have found me overly pessimistic.
I have asked questions, but they have generally not been answered. Me asking challenging questions does not mean that I am pessimistic. Asking questions and learning is all about challenging ideas. Learning is not about accepting (or rejecting) everything which is said at face value. That applies equally to what is said by LLMDs as it does to other physicians.
I certainly do not disagree that pts can have psych symptoms due to Lyme. I do, however, think that it's important to maintain a balanced view.
