This is another thing that scares the crap out of me. I'm afraid of nuclear war. I'm afraid of an angry man running the country. That's all.
But I agree w/ Baseball. I didn't mean to start a political/media bashing discussion.
And I hope I don't sound like I'm trying to get the last word in (I'm sure someone will follow).
I do think being a little cynical about it is the only thing I can do.
I am hoping to make some sort of med change also though to at least _try_ to feel a little better. It's an odd choice but I'm considering talking to my doctor about adding Modifinil. I took that once when samples were avaiable in the mid-00s and I remember it being somewhat helpful. I found a few pubmed studies that showed it can be helpful as an adjunct for BP depression and also seems to be ok w/ MAOIs. The cost was the main reason my doc and I had didn't really discuss it in the past but I found that with a "GoodRX" coupon I can get a 2 month supply for ~$100 (200mg pills which I can split).
Perhaps the addition of Modifinil would allow me to get into video projects which are a hobby of mine that I use to keep my mind off of current events (I haven't been able to enjoy fun things the past couple months).
I could also try going up on Lamictal maybe (from 200mg) but past attempt to do that have just made me tired.
