Not many physical symptoms for me. I went on the med merry-go-round years ago, and came away from the whole situation knowing that only a few meds were of any benefit for me, and then, only at small doses. In the vast majority of cases, the cure was worse than what ailed me, but there're a couple that can keep the wolves at bay. I no longer think of meds as a means of magic transformation, just a way to take the edge of depression off. And that's a nice thing of itself.

Anyway, as to physical symptoms, don't really have them, other than insomnia, but I associate that as much with depression as I do with meds. When my depression is more pronounced, I do feel like I have a heavy head, though, and thinking is more difficult. I'd imagine that that is pretty standard fare depression symptoms.

Anyway, I'm a long time occasional peruser of this forum. Usually check in every now and again to see what peoples experiences are with new meds that come on the market.

Shame the way the board has deteriorated in recent years.

I really wish you well, Scott. I know from checking in periodically that you've had a very long struggle of your own, and that you're very generous with your knowledge around here. You're probably the most knowledgeable patient I've ever read. I suspect you could put some doctors to shame.

Best, Marc
