Ultimately I slowly decreased my dosage until I was completely off the Zoloft, which during that time I became quite unpredictable. I was highly impulsive, and short tempered. Not easy to be around at home and at work people noticed my impulsive mental state.

Personally I feel that's a definite possibility. I was placed on 5 mg initially and quickly increased to 10 mg. The initial dosages significantly improved my mood and made me more socially talkative and more outgoing at work than I've ever been before. It was quite a good feeling and I felt GREAT.

Hey FloydAS,

That's really great your doing so well and responding to the Brintellix! And thank you for taking the time to report your success story here. I think often times people are inclined to stop posting once they're in remission. They're out living their lives, making up for lost time, and who can blame them? :)

But a quick shout out to Babble with a "hey I beat this thing with treatment X" sure would be helpful to some of us I would think. So thank you.

Jade
