I almost said something that might be too dramatic, but I *really* don't know what I would have done without you, SLS. Your experience and wisdom (both your personal experiences and the experiences you've relayed of people you've encountered in your journey) has been so helpful to me and many others.

When in the worst of despair I often thought about your posts which gave me a glimmer of hope, even
far and away from the computer or the smartphone.
I still come here first when I have questions about - well - anything mental health related.

This board turned me onto Nardil which has saved my life and provided the support, knowledge, and experience so difficult to find in person.

Knowledgeable, kind, vulnerable, and real - you are everything most psychiatrists should be, but aren't!

(I'm learning to be more vulnerable in therapy -) often I am embarrassed to check in here and see how you're doing because I've left the board for awhile, distracted with other things. But this place has been a constant source of hope and information for me. We, the informed patients sharing information, hope, and experience with each other, is what mental health support is all about...

How ARE you doing, anyway? What are you taking?

This board and you in particular, our humble resident expert, have been SO MUCH MORE valuable to me than 95% of my office visits. Hats off!

Rx regime:

Nardil 90mg/day depression/GAD
Prazosin 2mg ptsd
Fish Oil 4800mg (depression/anxiety benefit? unknown.)
Klonopin 0.5mg sig: 1tb q4h prn anxiety nte 2 tbs. in any 12-hour period (can go 2-3 days without taking it now!)
Doxylamine Succinate 25-50mg prn hs insomnia

Considering adding back Focalin XR at next appointment for bothersome ADHD symptoms.

There are no moderators here but single handedly you have managed to keep this site alive. I really believe that. And it helps so many.
