If you're serious about maintaining a specific blood concentration, then absolutely the best way to learn about your own pattern, taking into account the seasons, would be to have repeat blood tests for at least a year.

Monthly tests would be ideal, but every three months might give you the information you seek. Once you have an annual pattern, you won't need to repeat the tests nearly so often. Maybe once a year, to verify your status.
