I do Orthomolecular. The term "Orthomolecular" covers a lot of ground, especially when you're talking about psychiatry, but...old school Orthomolecular, back when it was called "MegaVitamin Therapy," generally invovles: 1) multi-vitamin 2) high potency b-100 3) high doses of niacin and/or niacinamide (we're talking grams here) 4) high dose vitamin C (again, grams...at least as much C as B3) and usually also involves: vitamin E, zinc, and selenium.
This has helped me tremendously. I have been diagnosed with severe Bipolar I, although really its mostly really, really, really bad, recurrent depression. My meds work well w/ minimal side effects and I'm doing well physically, too.Aside from that...there's fish oil, some amino acids...you have options.
Good luck!
