I was on Emsam when this symptom started and have stopped since my Dr gave me Duloxetine and told me to wait 2 weeks before starting for the washout of Emsam. I recall I had a good response to Sam-e in the past but stopped because of its price. I started taking it again 1 week ago and felt relief the 2nd day. Taking 1,200mg a day seems to keep me from falling off the edge but just barely enjoying life. Duloxetine and Sam-e have a risk of serotonin syndrome. I would have to drop the Sam-e to go on the Duloxetine and I'm afraid the crash would be bad. Feel kind of stuck right now.
