This is just a one page read but if anyone can go through it and give me some insight, i couldn't tell how old it was?
http://www.ltspeed.com/bjblinder/publications/advances_in_mood_stabilizing_med.htmwhat i'm interested mostly in is the second to last paragraph.
it discusses other mood stabilizers as calcium channel blockers, TRH (thyrotropin releasing hormone) plus other endogenous neuropeptides.
Has anyone heard of these and what branded/generic drug they may have turned into?
"verpamil and nimodipine (are showing special promise for rapid and hr-cycling.)""Dihydropyridine class of L-type calcium channel blockers, which includes nimodipine, isradipine etc., compared to phenylalkalamine verapamil may have greater MS effects."
"Highly preliminary data on TRH have raised the possibility of its possible ACUTE anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, and anti-suicide effects."
"What is madness, but nobility of soul at odds with circumstance.
The day is on Fire, and i know the purity of pure despair."
