The weight gain is well known. Yet, Remeron is much better for depression than many other meds.
You can try metformin along with it and see if you can hold your weight like this. Maybe, if it works well you can even reduce weight while still being on Remeron.
When you say "permanently destroyed my body", you mean that your skin is stretched out and wont go back even if you loose the weight?
Thats not good and possibly could have been prevented with metformin. People on AAPs and/or Remeron keep telling me that they dont want to take so many pills.. But i argue that obesity is much worse than the side effects of Metformin. Personally, i have none.
