cogentin/benztropine

Hi I'm Lynneat. My daughter is on 4mg cogentin/benztropine and doc wants to discontinue it all at once. What can happen and how can I approach her to stop it from being sudden but titrate slowly instead? You know how docs can be. You ask a question and they feel threatened many times. I really appreciate all info you can give me. Thanks.
