The pre-2003 pill had a pharm glaze and a wax coating that moved the pill to the small intestine. The current formula uses Croscarmellose Sodium
which unfortunately dissolves in H20. Every time you open your bottle the pill is exposed to whatever the dewpoint is..That is the reason I would mandate the 60 pill bottle with the desiccant. Taking on an empty stomach with water should move the pill quickly through the stomach.
If you can afford having your pills made that would be great.
As to the dosing when I first started Nardil I did run up to 90mg in AM to get it to kick in. At that time hypertension and difficulty in urinating were my only side effects.I have found to high of a dose actually increases my depression and brings about diarrhea.
