I will make another strong recommendation for Keppra @ 3000 mgs daily, to replace the Trileptal. Keppra Hepatotoxicity
Prospective studies suggest that chronic levetiracetam therapy is not accompanied by significant elevations in serum aminotransferase levels. Clinically apparent hepatotoxicity from levetiracetam is quite rare.
