not just psych drugs. i don't really watch tv. but, i would bet that cholesterol, sexual ed, diabetes, arthritis, etc. meds outnumber psych med ads overall. just a hunch.
maybe it's because we are more hyper-aware. i never paid attention to the viagara or cialis ads until i hit my late 40's. now, i swear they are all geared towards me. lol. they seem to be on all the f*ck*ng time it seems! and, like i said i rarely watch tv. geez.
on a positive note; in some ways i think theses ads MAY take some of the stigma away for some conditions, including ours.
finally, we are one of the few countries that allow med ads on tv. i know this thread mentioned print ads, but i thought i'd chime-in about the tv stuff.
curious what others think.
