> caffine is good and effective at low to moderate doses...a cup or two of regular coffee usally gets people in the US going....today, i had regular coffee....felt great, and then it wore off....went back up to the store and got strong dark roast....i thought nearly i was going to die...that feeling your jumping out of your skin from unfocused stimulation that causes extreme dyphoria/horrible mood. I studied all day today fine on coffee....then i took the next cup...i had to lay down in the bed i was jitter all over...caffine is nasty over 300-400mg...200mg is usally a regular dose to help for wakefulness and some focus.

> rMy PDoc make me stop drinking coffee back in 2009, he was saying that it was the root of my anxiety problem... He was so wrong...
I was used to 6 cups and more of coffee a day, never felt jittery, never had a panic attack cause of coffee, in fact coffee was my main source of energy and very useful in exams and long works periods for the university and to give a boost of energy in the evening when it was time to get out...never had heart palpitations or tachycardia cause of the caffeine in coffee... But I wasn't able to drink energy drink like red bull or monster or wake up pills, it's seem that synthetic caffeine was a main trigger for panic and anxiety...
I was a freak of Starbucks coffee and one guy working there told me that darker coffee have less caffeine...
Now 3 yeas later I can't even have a cup of decaf without having a racing heart rate... Also can't eat chocolate... My brain and body react badly to coffee... Weird since I drank coffee for almost 15 years...
That PDoc was the worse I had... He cut my main source of energy and now not only I feel anxious all the time but I feel also tired, no energy and bad memory...and I have bad insomnia, never had difficulty to sleep after 2 or 3 coffees...
So don't stop drinking it, if you feel jittery than only reduce the amount you drink. Withdrawal coffee can lead to more depression and low energy symptoms...and you will maybe not be able to drink it again...
I miss my good coffee...the taste...the smell...the energy and the very sharp and good memory...
