Yup. It occurs quite often. It is inexplicable why some people gain weight and others don't. Of course, thyroid status must be considered.

Yup. Another known side effect. I wouldn't know how to remedy it, though. One study of 237 patients reported edema occurring in 10% of them. That's pretty high.

Have you tried Lamictal?

Some people with bipolar depression respond to a combination of Lamictal and Abilify.
