I've tried most of the drugs above, but as far as anxiety goes (and it sounds very much like you're suffering from GAD, as everyone pretty much suggested) Lexapro worked the best. Perhaps that's because it's a true SRI. Of course, adding a benzo with it works even better. I like Konopin or Valium on a daily basis because of the long half-lives, though I find Xanax to be better during acute attacks and not as much of a depressant.
