No, I was being treated for depression symptoms. I've never really been a highly anxious person, in the sense that I have a racing pulse or I get sweaty or anything. I wasn't functioning well, I had passively suicidal thoughts (meaning I wasn't really planning on doing anything about it), I wasn't motivated and such. And this had happened before--several times. So my therapist said that maybe it was time we tried medication. I saw a psychiatrist and then went on Zoloft.

So I've had a history of mild to severe depression that would be followed by periods of impulsive, emotional times. But never quite to the level that I reached when I took the meds. It was like a new threshold had been broken. I don't know, I feel like there's a pre-med/post-med time frame.

Although, If it was SSRI induced, it would have stopped after I stopped taking it, right?
