Do you have any allergies or chemical sensitivities/intolerances? Did you move to a new house or apartment when the depression started?
Can you isolate any psychosocial stressors that may have precipitated the depression and that might still be present?
Just curious.
You might want to get your folate and B12 levels checked. There are posters here who could help you with this more than I can.
Personally, I have my doubts about the existence of an adrenal fatigue syndrome and that it would be a cause of depressive symptoms. I have an open mind to the idea, though, and I have not performed an exhaustive research - just a few quick searches on Google and Medline. The sum-total of hits on Medline for "adrenal fatigue":

At this point, I am inclined to regard "adrenal fatigue" as a fad pseudo-diagnosis for a medical condition that does not exist. That is not to say that adrenal insufficiency does not exist. It does. It is often a symptom of a medical condition and not the cause of one. It can also be a side effect of medication.
