I appreciate the link, but I wouldn't worry about it-- this is very rare.
It's also likely dose-dependent-- we know this is the case with opiates, and it was reported just shortly before Rush Limbaugh reported having hearing loss that OxyContin caused hearing loss. You have to take a lot, and most people don't get hearing loss.
Some information is useful, but some stuff just makes us worry. : )
