I saw a roundtable discussion on the Charlie Rose show. It was some of the brightest people who had different specialties or ways of studying the brain. One thing they all agreed on is that we know very little about it.
So, I'm sure that if a person has a vulnerability or maybe not in the brain, something can go haywire. It would be foolish to think otherwise.
I hope that anyone in that situation can find help.
This isn't a real comparison but if I wanted to commit suicide I wouldn't need a gun, just give me a whole lot of water. If too much water drunk too fast can kill me I reckon drugs can too.
If a lot of people have suffered damage we should be hearing about that sooner or later, in large numbers.
But what we have now is a long way from asylums and all of the torture that went on in them.
Life is good.
