I rowed at University for 4 years, then coached rowing (while rowing 2 times a day), taught spin cycling and ran about 6 miles a day. While exercise is phenomenal and should be a part of everyone's life if it is possible, it is not by any means a sole way of treating serious mental illness. Absolutely nothing stopped my clinical depression and ocd constantly hitting me until I found a med that helped. It has been quite a journey and I am still tweaking my meds/supplements and doing exercise. I think it is a bit naive to think that what works for one will work for everyone else.
Hi,
Thats why I put in this line
"Not preaching to you for those that meds do work. I'm sure that what works for me does not work for everyone."
