I have not tried Buspar. I have this suspicion it won't be strong enough for me. also, I'm bipolar and I don't want to risk cycling.
I become manic on Effexor, to the point of physical aggression.
I'm on Viibryd, so I don't see how Paxil would be any better for me.
Gabitril does not work for me in the Anxiety department.
What I've tried for anxiety so far:
Keppra (works well but makes me depressed)
Topomax (Unbeleivable paradoxical effects)
Neurontin (works but gave me a rash)
Gabitril (no effect)
Trileptal (works)
Zonegran (worked for both my ocd a general anxiety but caused agitation)
Lyrica (works, but very weak)
Benzos (taken a wide variety. They work to treat my anxiety and panic symptoms, but not my OCD. The only drawback is paradoxical effects-Xanax turned me into a monster)
Prazosin (I feel better. Is this working?)
What I'm on now:
Lithium 1200mg
Latuda 80 mg
Viibryd 60 mg
Ativan 4 mg day/prn
