I can tell you that I suggested it to my father in law,and he is 66yrs old,has taken it for 2 yrs,loves it,hasnt gained weight,I think hes on 45mg per day.He has had depression/anxiety and I think he said he was even diagnosed as bipolar yrs ago. He also takes coumadin, but no other psych meds.I took remeron 15mg for awhile for sleep and it helped me adjust to zoloft.I had no trouble tapering it,and I still sometimes take a small amt for sleep.
