I recently started nardil after several other drugs failed to work for my neurotic depression with prominent anxiety symptoms. As im from germany and this med isnt avaliable in our country i managed to get it imported from the usa via prescription by my pdoc. I got the pfizer brand, i think its the original med and non generic. Lately i did some research in the net and found some bad stories about a reformulation of nardil in 2003. There were many long term nardil users in whom the drug lost its effectiveness after it worked for many years right after the reformulation. Im taking the drug for 7 days now and am already noticing that its doing something in me. For now its nothing good as im just kind of nervous an my sleep is worse, but its not completely ineffective i think. I asked myself what it could be that so many people suffered from exacebration of their depressin after this reformulation and if so, why are there still many users taking this drug after the reformulation. If it lost its effectiveness why is it effective again in these people taking it today? Are there nardil users out there taking the new nardil having constant relieve from their symptoms for several years as many of the "old" nardil users prescribed it before the reformulation?thx
