There are some clues in there.

Is your metabolism and liver chewing up these things ultra rapidly? Could be. Doing a trial test with ultra high dosing would be one way to find out.

Are they being absorbed in the intestine? Maybe not. There are several reasons why that could be so. Ultra high dosing might be a way to be sure some is getting through.

Are they hitting the right chemistries for you? Maybe not. For sake of example, let's assume your liver is normal and your blood test shows the drug is indeed being absorbed into your system. Straterra is really strong on norepinephrine, so if you are absorbing that med and it isn't doing anything, you can pretty much rule out norepinephrine as a factor.

What if your symptoms have nothing at all to do with serotonin, norepinephrine, or dopamine? Those aren't the only things associated with depression, ya know? If your symptoms are not caused by some malfunction in those circuits, then psych meds are not going to do anything for you. Your magic cure in that case would be something else probably non-psychiatric. I mean, just for perspective sake for anyone who is aware, serious long standing resistant depressions have been improved or cured with substances such as antibiotics, antifungals, antiparasites, and anti-heavymetals. Not to mention simple to diagnose things such as gluten intolerance. Someone with gluten intolerance, who doesn't know they are gluten intolerant, can have a bizarre mix of symptoms including psychiatric where the problem is actually originating in the intestines not the brain. So trying to treat the brain in that case will obviously not work. While on the topic, what gluten does in intolerant individuals is damage and destroy the intestinal lining....thus a possible explanation for not absorbing meds.

I don't know enough about your case and I'm not a trained doctor. But I do know enough to say there are other things that need to be addressed and there are useful clues in your med failures.
