> When I worked at home and started having depression, I bought a laptop and started working at Starbucks. All I ordered was a grande coffee. I would stay for hours. But I live in Boston, where Starbucks and other places with Wifi are filled with students on their laptops not really spending money. I don't think Starbucks cares. In Montreal, where my daughter lives, there are so many more cafes than here and they are all filled with people reading, on laptops, etc. It's just the norm.
thanks for the encouragement... Part of what I've described is as I said, but I think another part is, subconsciously, there is nothing I hate worse than looking for work. Not working itself, but looking for it. I haven't worked since 2008. I'm scared, jobs are scarce. I need to force myself through this fear or I'll get nowhere and make my depression worse.
