ADD here, too. The inattentive type can be difficult to spot in a crowd or even in one's own self--that it isn't 'abject' laziness :-|
Dexedrine really worked for me. In retrospect, I felt a slight push to do when on it and I would dream of life w/o that push. For myself it possibly contributed to presentation or earlier presentation of fibromyalgia. However, I think I expected my meds to do all the work. (Sigh.)
Dex felt very good in that oft said way of feeling 'normal'. Could this be what the rest of the world feels like? For now, my dex is shelved because of health stuff. I
am definitely more fuzzy headed again. But I'm also off any AD.So there's my encouragement and my cautionary advisory. Have you ever tried the dexedrine by itself? (I'm really
curious; not suggesting you should.) Sometimes I think that w/o an AD on board would have been better in my own case.Good luck w/ transitioning and obtaining your prescription.
