In reply to Remeron good then horrible anyone?, posted by Cydnie on March 31, 2011, at 12:28:31
I felt good very fast on remeron for a day or so, and then began to feel much worse than I had felt before taking it. I hung in there and tried more time as well as higher doses. The time didn't matter except the side effects become much milder. Dosage increases made me feel even worse.
Mileage varies and everyone reacts differently.
You could try adding one of your favorite previous reuptake inhibitors to remeron. The combo would probably feel different than either of the meds separately and the synergy of them increases the odds of success. Nortriptyline added to those even better. I'm not talking big doses in a mix like this. It's the synergy that works, allowing the potential for good results at low doses.
