there was no pun intended, other than me being irritated by rather vague (to me, at least) use of the term "wash out". I would use "clear (out of) system)" or "half-life". Maybe this will help:
Half-life of this medication can be up to 5 hours,
so if you take 100 mg (that's theoretical) - in 5 hours your body will have 50 mg left, in another 5 - 25 mg, in another 5 - 12.5, in another five - 6.25 and so on to 3, and 1.5 and then zero. 6x5 = 30 hours to reach almost zero level of the medication in your body since it is not like THC - it does not get stored in fat. For those concenred about getting drug tested for job purposes and not having to go through the explanation process as to why your on the med that some might consider "street drug" - I would give it 3 days or more as those test kits are rather sensitive. If my post showed any irritation was (once again) the term 'wash-out' and the fact that the doctor supposedly had no clue how long it takes.
In simple language, the 2nd part of my post was referring that your body might still feel the effect of quiting the med. Some might argue that it is not as same as serotonin withdrawal, but in my opinion, it can be pretty nasty, especially with larger doses of d-amph.
Hope this helps.
