buspar worsening anxiety?

Today's my third day taking taking 5mg of Buspar twice a day. The anxiety it's causing is unbearable; I feel like adrenaline is coarsing through me all day long.
My guess is it's the alpha-2 antagonism of the metabolite at work.
The catch is . . it's the only thing giving me enough energy to start working again right now . . but it's not really nice to feel like this (my manager kept commenting about how nervous I looked).
Should I give the anxiety more time?
