Hi.
> Scott, is your combo helping?
Thanks for asking.
It does help some, but not nearly enough to get me back to work. When I first added agomelatine, I experienced a brief robust improvement lasting 3 days. It is always the same old story with me. 3 days. I can't imagine what might possibly be happening so rapidly in the brain physiologically to produce such a quick relapse. There is a clue hidden somewhere within those 3 days.
What I have decided to do is to remain on the three drugs I am currently taking so that I can function well enough to live independently. I will try different treatments as they become available. I have all but exhausted those that currently exist. Tianeptine I have not tried. I would not combine it with an MAOI without evidence proving that it can be done safely. I am growing more and more interested in rTMS. Unfortunately, I will probably have to wait until Medicare covers it, if it ever does.

- ScottSome see things as they are and ask why.
I dream of things that never were and ask why not.
