Lithium is the only drug *proven* to take suicidal ideations away.

I have bipolar disorder and I know for a fact that lithium saved my life.

People who suggest going off drugs seem to think our brains operate in a vacuum from the rest of the body, and are immune from any sort of chemical inbalances or physical trauma.

I've tried a ton of different medications to augment my current treatment: Topemax, Rilutek, Keppra, Gabitril, Clonidine, Namenda, Odansetron, Opiates and Dextroamphetamine. Nothings working! Do I have to spend the rest of my life thinking about suicide half the day? Ugh, I hope not. I would appreciate any kind of input you fellow Babblers might have.
