I think that desipramine would be similar to nortriptyline. The main side effects that it is known to have are constipation, dry mouth, arrythmia, and trouble sleeping. You probably would not put on weight with this drug.

Hope that is helpful. That is just what i've read about those drugs, I've never been able to take at TCA but i would like to try one of those two. Do you noticed any cognitive improvements on nort?


Iatrogenic post-SSRI problems: anhedonia, memory and concentration problems, sexual dysfunction. (not a formal DX)

Currently taking Lamictal, mirtazapine, and abilify.
