Guess it depends on whether you have high or low levels of DHEA to begin with.

It's interesting you bring this up as I have just recently decided to supplement with micronized DHEA.

I also just found out that lithium at higher doses may decrease levels of DHEA(we have to take into account that these were very high doses given to rats in the study). Funny, I currently take Prozac and lithium, but this is not the reason I started my DHEA supplementation.

In the past, I don't believe I noticed any effects while on SSRIs that would reflect possible lowering of DHEA levels.

I wonder if supplementing DHEA while on Lithium, TCA's, or SSRIs would ameliorate the effects of lower DHEA levels.
