Hi there-
Here's my current drug regimen:
EMSAM (Selegiline) patch 12 mg
Mirapex (Pramipexole) 1.5 mg
Solian (Amisulpride) 50 mg
Survector (Amineptine) 200 mg
Lamictal (Lamotrigine) 200 mgThis combination seems to be doing quite well to treat what I believe to be mild borderline personality disorder (or bipolar II, can't be sure) with anhedonia and dysthemia.
After trying and failing with the SSRIs, I tried wellbutrin with some luck (but too much cognitive impairment). This led me to believe that I may have a problem with dopamine or noradrenaline, not so much with serotonin. So I tried amineptine which proved mildly successful. So I thought it might be a dopamine issue, not so much noradrenaline. Then I added EMSAM, which seems to be working after about a month. Just in the last few days I've added Mirapex, and for these last few days I've felt just fine. Perhaps time will take away my euthymia, but we shall see.
I'm just worried that all this dopaminergic action could cause some serious problems like hypertension, tardive dyskinesia , etc. I feel great, and haven't noticed any hypertension yet. Could it be that it might take time before hypertension sets in? Also, amisulpride apparently can cause tardive dyskinesia at doses above 50 mg. I should be safe, but does the addition of all these other dopaminergic drugs increase my risk?
All questions and comments are appreciated.
Thank you,
Alejandro
