I personally do not take much faith in the names given to various types of depression. Bottom line, you feel like crap period. Doesn't matter if it has a name or not, because no one can reliably match a drug to that name. Too much overlap and subjectiveness in deciding which name fits. As you pointed out.

It does not look like you have had any experience in tweeking the dopamine system. It seems to me it would make sense for you to consider something like:

Low dose of the ssri you tolerate best along with a low dose of ritalin.

Low dose amisulpride.

In the herbal category:

Rhodiola Rosea
St JohnsWort
DLPA

Don't underestimate their power.

No matter what you do, it appears you are sensitive to side effects. So you have to ignore the routine dosing instructions and instead go on the low side. Half the dose you are told to take.
