Sorry to hear you are having such severe withdrawal symptoms from such a small dose.
Have you had this problem before? Are you sure it is the withdrawal from the amitriptyline. How do you know it is not the new drug that is creating problems. Not trying to add to your anxiety here. I've taken up to around 200mg of amitriptyline and I had been able to withdraw from that amount rather quickly say down to 0 over 2 months. I realize everyone's reaction to drugs is different.
