Dry mouth side effect

I finally got the remeron down to 4 mg and still gives excellent sleep results, but now I seem to have developed an odd feeling in my mouth. Went to see a periodontist and he said my mouth isn't really dry. It actually feels swollen; but this specialist also said the gums look healthy to him. I've tried to discontinue the mirtazapine and am now looking at the 4th day of compromised sleep. Anyone out there on a similar amount of this drug with any success solving the mouth side effects.
