Tianeptine enhances the reuptake of serotonin. Over time the brain will downregulate the number of serotonin transporters to compensate for this action. Taking fluoxetine or any serotonin reuptake inhibitor might have a more powerful effect since the number of transporters has been downregulated.
Your brain might be used to a lower amount of serotonin in the synapse because of tianeptine, so adding fluoxetine might "surprise" the brain or the brain might be more sensitive to an SSRI after long term tianeptine use.
I've been on Stablon for five years and feel it doesn't work very well as an antidepressant in the long term, although it is still good as an anxiolytic. I certainly hope it keeps working for you.
Good luck,
