Sides are some cognitive dysfunction (memory not as sharp) and sleepiness that I counteract with coffee. For some reason when taking neurontin I don't get wired on coffee. When I take high dose neurontin it feels like dopamine or norepinephrine is involved.
It is used a lot for neuropathic pain. It not that effective for regular chronic pain such as from arthritis.
Have not had withdrawel issues with it.
