I feel like I owe a huge amount, maybe my life, to fellow PB posters.
I was scared to death of Parnate. I didn't know anyone who had ever taken it. The diet, the med restrictions all gave me fear. I had a rough time getting on it and getting the kinks worked out. I never would have been able to do this without all the ideas, explanations, support and help I got here, especially from Scott.
I am only able to see my pdoc every three months for 20-30 min. I needed practically daily help and I got it here.
Parnate is working wonderfully well for me now. I had been on the verge of suicide after so many years of trying different meds etc.etc. Parnate was my last med before ETC and I absolutely was NOT doing that. Instead, I'm having a pretty darn good life, one day at a time.
I keep coming back because I'm interested in how others are doing. I want to add something positive if I can. I learn a lot of interesting things. I'm afraid of Parnate stopping working or something else happening that I may need a lot of support again.
I've gotten some geniunely magic beans here and I'm forever grateful.
