This morning the pharmacist told me they are no longer making the 12 mg. patch, and they were going to call my doctor. So now what am I going to do, use 2 - 6 mg. patches a day? 6 mg. patches were $120/month copay on my insurance a few months ago, so is it going to cost me $240 a month now? The 12 mg. patches were a $134 copay. Great.
> I would call the company that makes them. Sounds like a scam the pharmacist is pulling on you. This is the nation's largest pharmacy; I won't mention the name, but it begins with a "W". I just tried calling Dey Pharmaceuticals; they are closed for the Holiday weekend. I need the prescription today; I am about to run out today. Holding it over the weekend won't do. Maybe I will call the pharmacy's national helpline.
