> Parnate has been a wonder drug for me. I have been on it for 6 months. At first, it knocked me out, then my pdoc agreed to give me 200 mg Provigil. I have been on 60mg since May. I had my life back with energy. Now all of a sudden I am very tired again. I told my Pdoc I wanted to increse to 80 mg and 2 provigil. He refuses to augent with anything else. I need more stimulation.I do not want to go back to how I was.

One of the things you can do is lobby your doctor to go to 80mg of Parnate by bringing him some medical literature suggesting the use of high-dose tranylcypromine (Parnate). There are a few people on Psycho-Babble that need 80mg. 60mg just doesn't do it for me. I don't consider Parnate as being given as a high-dose strategy until you get to dosages of 120mg and above, so 80mg is certainly well within the normal range. I tried 150mg once. If you can't get your doctor to go with adding amphetamine, maybe he would go along with the higher dosage of Parnate.
Here are a few things to take a look at. I hope all the links work. The most important study is the one published by Jay Amsterdam. He has been using high-dose Parnate for many years.
