Each dose increase was a few days of mild euphoria followed by just okay. Maybe I was not depressed but did not have that I can't wait to get out of bed feeling and really want to do things.

Would I be better off titrating the parnate up 10 mg every three weeks to make sure I gave the parnate enough time to work. What type of schedule should I use with the nortriptyline? I don't plan to go past 50 mg of nortriptyline. I don't want sides of weight gain etc.

Start the nortriptyline at the same time at 10mg and get to 50mg by the end of two weeks. 40mg of Parnate is the minimum dosage that most people with severe depression respond at. Realistically, you could go to 60mg on the Parnate and 75mg on the nortriptyline. If you are going to get fat at 75mg, you will get just as fat at 50mg. I think nortriptyline is much less apt to put on weight than amitriptyline or drugs like Nardil and Zyprexa.

Thanks..sounds like a good plan.

By the way what do you think nortriptyline added to your goals? What type of mental and or emotional changes did you notice when you added this drug to parnate?
