I had old lyme disease discovered on labs as a tic had been on me but it never sucked blood so the infection control specialist said it couldn't have been that tic but one from the past . So firt doxcycline for l0 days and that was it that doc refused more. Then a follow up in hospital and still active so a pic line some rocephine for a few days and strange reaction so taken off the rocephin given biaxin xl three months at a time for two years. Still test positive but the docs here say I always will and refuse to treat. Phillipa
