Those are difficult questions for me to answer.
I had been on a low dose of flufenazin for twenty years,
when I met with a new psychiatrist fifteen years ago.I was an extremely angry man at the time,
and the doc switched flufenazin to buspirone."It's been shown that Buspar is effective against anger",
the doctor said.Well, I really didn't notice much difference.
I have never felt Buspar in my body. But I think this drug has a stabilizing effect on the mind.
Buspar takes two to four weeks to start working.
The minimum dose would be 3 x 5 mg a day for positive effects.Best regards,
X-rayP.S. Just switched Buspar to 0,5 mg of Fluanxol (flupentixol).
