I wonder why I thought I took 60. Or maybe the PDocRN accidentally changed it when she snuck me in for that free appointment--if it was planned I know she would have discussed that with me first. Probably just me being mistaken, but I threw away all the old bottles of course but am wondering where the hell I came up with the thought i was taking 60 mg....Im confused now! Maybe I could up the dose and see if that helps w/anxiety.

I always forget to talk about the Buspar...but it was the first med I was put on back in 1995, before the Paxil... It was new at the time in the Canada and I was on the maximum dose of 60mg...if I can remember well... and it worse my panic attack problems at the times and worse also my anxiety...If you already take a benzo drugs before, Buspar will be innefective, a lot of studies proof that point, I can't give a link to them, but on pubmedia they have tons of studies about the Buspar med...
For what I know and my own experience, that's not good for social phobia and panic disorder... but it may help some people who never touch a benzo meds before and people who have depression with a little bit of anxiety...but not usefull for GAD or SAD as I write before...
I think it's a 5-HT1A partial agonist... They claim it's not addictive... but they forget to also mention that's it's not very helpfull also...
That's what I think... and for what I heard from my Family Doctor and the new PDoc, they dont RX often now and it's somewhat not use anymore to treat anxiety problems (SAD, GAD, PD...)...
I hope it will work on you...good luck ;-)
