Well when I suffered from constant untreated anxiety then took an Ativan, I became instantly "cured"; energetic, happy, great. I attributed it to the relief from torturous anxiety, not from a chemical reaction on mood from the Benzos.
Some people say they have an AD affect, but for me personally, I can't possibly see how an anti-depressant effect could emerge from within an hour of taking one. That's just an opinion though, not fact.
