In reply to My breakdown: Nardil, Lamictal... Marplan next??, posted by zonked on March 24, 2009, at 14:24:13
Welcome to babble...I see no one has even taken the time to greet you as a new user.
I'm on nardil at 75mg and going well...it does oscillate in response all the time though. It's strange as response seems to correspond with moods for me.
I'm Canadian and we dont have access to Marplan here...believe it was pulled from the market ages ago for poor sales. You wont find to many people on here with marplan experience. There are a few though you could contact that have both marplan and nardil experience. Search the archives for marplan. What do you know about the med other than the standard "less sides and more tolerable etc"? I've only basic second hand knowledge and a study or too to show efficacy. Wish it was an available option up here.
If I remember you can order "Deplin" from my country...it's not rx if I remember...found in herbal/supplement stores here I think. If i'm thinking of the same thing you mean.

> So, we finally got me back on Nardil, but only at 60mg b.i.d. and no more Xanax. The doctor here re-added Lamictal (which, admittedly, given my Cyclothymic diagnosis, I should have never stopped taking...) but refuses to raise my Nardil to 90mg/day for a few weeks.
